Babysitting & Children’s Programming

Babysitting – There is babysitting on the First and Second Days of Rosh Hashanah and Kol Nidre. We hope to offer it on Yom Kippur, but our usual babysitters are college students and so are not available. If you know of anyone who would like to volunteer, please contact Pam immediately, otherwise a parent will have to stay with their children.

To sign your children up for babysitting, please email Noelle in the office with your children’s names, ages, any food allergies, and what days you are signing up for.

We will have Children & Teen Services both days of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur from 10:30 – 11:30. If you arrive with your children before 10:15, please take them into the Sanctuary with you.

Teens are to be in the sanctuary or teen service at all times.

Important Information

High Holiday Security

For the security of everyone, the police officers will be asking for your current High Holiday ticket. If you do not have a ticket, you will be stopped at the door and have to provide your Beth El photo ID or a valid photo ID which will then be checked against a master list of our members as well as guests who will be joining us.

You will be issued a parking tag for your vehicle along with your High Holiday tickets. If you need additional tags, please call the Temple office. You must have the parking tag displayed on your rear view mirror in order to drive on Shirley Avenue and Spotswood Avenue or to be able to park in any of the synagogue parking lots.
